Do they make the 3ft-4ft tall dolls anymore…?
I was maybe 8 or 9 but for christmas I got a tall doll and i remember how much i loved it. It was in the 1990s when I got it and I really want to get one for my niece but dont know where to find one. It was NOT barbie, some off brand, plastic..the one i had had curly brown hair and my sisters had straight blonde hair..It came from Walmart back then, but its not there, does anyone know where I can find one?? Thanks in advance!

Yes, they still make them. They sell them at places like Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, Walmart, Target, and even Toys R Us around Christmas time. They are dolls that are made to “walk with you” meaning that they are tall enough to hold their hand and “walk around” the room with you. Some of them are even called “walking dolls” though none of them actually walk on their own, and instead only “walk” when you take their hand and drag them around the room with you. They usually come with one outfit, but many times can be dressed in toddler clothes, which makes them more fun for children who are into dolls who have parents that hate expensive doll clothes. They are usually made by generic toy companies, and sometimes just say “doll” on the label. Sometimes they are called My Size Baby Dolls all though generally only Barbie uses the “my size” label. Sometimes they are also called “Life Size Dolls”.
I know that there was a series called PlayPal Companion Dolls, but I believe that they were really expensive. There was also a brand called Super Size Girls. You might try Googling both of these names or checking on E-bay. There was also a series called Life Size Dolls. Generally I only see them in stores at Christmas Time though, and they are usually cheap generic versions.
