What Kind Of Laptop Should I Buy?
I will be receiving money for christmas and I was wanting your opinions on buying a good laptop for casual gaming and projects for school. What I mean by causual gaming are playing games like DIablo II and more. My budget is between 300-500 dollars and I would prefer to buy from Wal-mart because I think I will get many gift cards for that store for Christmas. I really don’t care what manufacturer the laptop is from, I can work with all types pretty easily. A laptop with a good wifi chip installed to perform a high speed wireless internet connection is a must! Your answers will be much appreciated =)
Honestly for what you’re asking for. you may have to go with a higher budget than 500 smackers. Simply because brand new laptops tend to start at $700. As far as gaming goes make sure you have a good Video card in it; Such as, Nvidia, or Raedon. also make sure you have at least a Pentium 4m, an AMD athlon mobile so that you’ll automatically have the WI-FI embedded. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES get a computer with an Intel Celleron or Centrino, they are very slow chips. Honestly Wal-mart is not a good place to buy laptops because of the low variety and the fact that they many times do not sell Refurbished laptops (which is where a $300-500 budget comes in.) But you never know, you may get lucky
