Is it better to have a car dolly or a car carrier through Budget Truck Rentals?
I have moved over 2,500 miles towing a Mustang on a car carrier & it was very difficult. This time we will be doing the same move back, but towing a different car.
I know the speed limit on the car carrier is not that high, is it any fast on the car dolly? We will be towing a 2006 Chevy Aveo, hatchback. I would rather have the one that goes faster but not at the sake of my car. Its through Budget truck rentals, not a company I wanted to use.
I would strongly recommend taking the car carrier for your trip. The wear and tear on your car will be more then what the extra cost is. Why don’t you want to use Budget Truck Rental?
Also, the speed limit will say 55, after you travel a bit and get used to it you can step it up wards a little bit to about 60 or 65
