Towing Equipment Rental Recommendation?
Does anyone know a place where I can rent a car carrier or car dolly for towing my car (without having to rent a truck)? Please, something other than U-Haul! P.S. I am in Fort Lauderdale, and I need to tow my car to San Antonio.
U haul is the only company that rents tow dollies and car trailers on a one way basis, without them being rented as an accessory to a rental truck.
Seeing as Uhaul would cost you about $250 for a tow dolly, you may want to consider buying a used tow dolly and selling it when you arrive in TX. If you can buy one for $600, use it and then sell it for $400 you would be ahead.
