crochet patter help needed?
I’m making a dolly tote-along bassinet and have come to something that just doesn’t look right when i try to follow the pattern. The pattern reads”sc in next ch sp, ch 3, dc in next ch sp, ch 1, dc in sp between 2 dc, ch 1,*(dc in next ch sp,ch 1)2 times, dc in sp bewteen next 2 dc, ch 1; repeat from * around” okay i know the stitches but when i do what i think it says, it just doesn’t seem right. If it helps the preceding rows are sc, ch 4, sc around and then dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc in every other loop of the ch 4 from the row before.
Okay try sc in the first ch sp of the last row. Then you ch 3 you put a dc ch dc in the ch sp of the last row. Give that a try. You do know there is a way to draw out the pattern. The abbreviations have a corresponding figure ( sc is x, and ch is a dash, dc is a line with a slash through it )
