Dollhouse Fans, do you like Echo? (Spoilers)?
I just started to watch this show. I have to say. I could care less about Echo/Eliza Duskhu. And I think I would care more about Echo if Eliza’s acting was better. I don’t think Eliza has enough range to be someone ‘new’ every episode. I think that’s one of the reason why the show is tanking, it’s lead star. I think she’s better off as a supporting actress, and that’s probably why Tru Calling failed.
I find myself liking the co-stars 10x more than her. Adelle, Thoper, Boyd Sierra, and Victor hold my interest more than Echo does.
And I don’t think they need Paul. He offers nothing to the show but an annoying love interest for Echo, that I don’t buy. I personally like Mellie (AKA November) with Paul more.
I completely agree. My favourite episodes are the ones where she’s less of the focus, like Belonging, which focussed on Sierra. However, I love the show anyway, thanks in no part to that character.
