final xbox question?
ok so ive asked a bunch of questions about xbox 360, xbox live , halo 3 etc well on monday i will finally be getting the 360 pro…. i expect it to have a one to three month xbox live gold trial on it and after that i will sign up to pay the 7 or 8 dollars a month for xbox live… my question is im going to have the 360 in my room not really close to an internet outlet… my laptop has wireless internet and i have that linkys wireless on my dads computer in the living room … the wireless adapter for the 360 is a 100 and i dont feel like spending anymore money that i already am … so the linkys comes with a small little receiver adaptor thing that “connects” to the home base thats in the living room … its got a usb cord and you just plug it in the computer well w/e anyway can i just plug that into the 360 if not is there anything someone can tell me to do instead of having to shell out more money for the wireless adaptor?
From what I can gather. You would have a total of three options.
1) Use ethernet cables to make the connection (either under carpet, in-wall, etc…)
2) Get a used Wireless xbox adapter (like 59-65$) some places
