Do you know of a San Diego area beach with a lot of shells?
I remember, as a kid, going to a couple beaches in San Diego that had sand dollars, conch shells, and all sorts of cool shells, but don’t have any idea of their names.
Does anyone know any good shell beaches in San Diego, or anywhere in Southern California for that matter?

Boy, that brought back some good memories. I remember the sand dollars as well. Very cool. Unfortunately, You are just not going to find any shells in SoCal any more unless you are first on the beach in the morning after a storm. As usual, To many people and not enough shells. Sorry!
If you examine closely You’ll see that you find here, Four nail holes and a fifth one Made by a Roman’s spear.
