Buying a notebook in California/Nevada?
Hi,
I am from Germany and I will be in California and Nevada the next weeks. I researched a lot, but I did not really find what I was looking for.
I want to buy the HP Compaq 8510w there, as it is much cheaper in the USA due to the low Dollar. Besides BestBuy (who have not got the 8510w in their product range), I found NO big notebook store.
Is somebody living in this area? There MUST be a big shop in there… I am able to get to San Francisco, Sacramento, Reno, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. I do not even know the names of big computer shopping chains, which makes the searching even harder.
Another thing: I want to have the 8510w with the WUXGA+ and the Blu-Ray-Drive. Are those only available when you order on hp.com (which I can not)? If I buy the one without Blu-Ray – Can you change this by yourself?
Please tell me any store in this area that I can call to ask for the 8510w…
