A Question From Someone Who Does Not Understand World Economy….?
We were discussing what is going on today with the world’s economy with some fellow students, and were wondering how this will affect us. The steps the US has taken to solve its economic woes has affected other currencies, so now the exchange rates are changing. Like here, for $1 you get more Russian rubles than before the US did whatever it did.
Our question is, for those who understand how these things work, is it wise for us to hold on to our dollars with the “hopes” that the exchange rate will get even better….. or should we change our money to local currency now while the going’s still “good”?
OR should we change HALF of our dollars to rubles to be “safe” either way?
Thanks, and no “big words”, please…..
No one understands World Economy. They never did. Since the late 1800′s up to May 2007 was simply beginners luck.
In my opinion the best thing you can transfer your money into is a small price of land on the outside of town, some vegetable seeds, two goats and a bee hive.
But then I never was much of an optimist.
