What are some good horror stories that you know?
Preferably some that have beginning middle and end, not just that your house is haunted.
Can be real or made up, hopefully scary though.
Stories with ventroloquist dummies, china dolls, possession, clowns and stuff like that are scariest.
Thanks
This one isn’t TOO scary, but it is true. My friend told me this a couple of years ago, and it is about her dad. Here it goes, enjoy
Years ago when Mark (my friends dad) was about 10 or 11, he and a couple of his friends pitched a tent in his back yard at night. They brought their sleeping bags, popped some popcorn, and just told stories to each other before they went to bed. After a couple of hours (probably around 12 in the morning) it started to rain. Since the rain started to seep into the tent, and since it was awfully cold and noisy, the boys just left everything in the tent and went to Marks house to go inside. But when they reached his house, it was locked (I do know that his parents were kind of like “not there,” meaning they really didn’t think when they locked it). Instead, they decided to head over to one of the other boys houses. As they were walking into marks driveway still in the pouring rain and pitch black night, they saw a man walking and coming up the driveway. Unsure if he saw them or not, and terribly scared, the boys quickly and quietly went into Marks Parents car that was unlocked. Shaking, they crouched down to be unseen and holding their breath, while locking the car. Within seconds, they heard the man approaching. They saw an unknown man walk up to the car, peer in, then walk in a different direction. They looked out the car window as they saw the man go towards their tent. He walked slowly and silently, not making a sound. As he reached the front door of the tent, he quickly pulled the zipper down and threw open the door, peering in, looking for little boys. Minutes later, he quietly left and was already down the street. The boys, still in the car, had to make a run for it. They silently opened up the door of the car, and one by one, all the boys started running as fast as they could to one of the boys house (whose father was a cop). Mark, who was the last one out, without thinking, slammed the door to the car (which caused the predator to flee). They finally reached the boys house, banged on the door until the parents let them in, and told them what happened. The father automatically went searching for the guy, but he was long gone.
They never did find the guy, and it IS a true story. When I heard that, I couldn’t help but wonder: What if it never rained that night?
