Don’t know any good Dolly quotes, but an interesting little bit of trivia:
Many years ago, the Tennessee Highway Department named a four mile stretch of highway in east Tennessee in her honor. Several years later, the deparment did a survey on every single mile of highway in the state, including topographical information. Ironically enough, the “Dolly Parton Memorial Highway” was the FLATTEST four-mile stretch of highway in the entire state.
