these are my guidelines////.
i need some help on how to do my hair like hers,,i have very long hair as she does..but have bangs, and have brown eyes..i want my makeup wild and vibrant like hers, and the crazy hair–any advice??
She doesn’t really have crazy hair. But if you like, you could pull all your hair into a high but messy, sort of lazy ponytail. (I don’t know if you understand that, but there should be some hair hanging out and it should be sort of wispy looking). Or, do it like the fifth picture, and pull it up into two ponytails on the side of your head.
As for the clothes, usually I woul make them, but, assuming you can’t sew, I would run to a thrift store (you’ll see why) and get a long black slip, a long purple skirt (or you could always dye one using RIT dye, sold at Wal-Mart with the laundry things). Cut up the bottom of the skirt like in the third picture, and wear it over the slip. Then, get some black tights (they can be very cheap.) and rip them up in random places. Or you can get some purple fishnets (Hot Topic) and wear them over the black tights, ripped in some places. Try to find some boots like those (REAL costume shops, not Halloween ones, but theatre ones, are great for period ankle boots, like from the Renaissance. Those would look great.)
For the top, just buy a corset from Hot Topic. It’s what I’d do. Or wear a plain black tank top, ripped in some places, over a purple one. Make sure it’s REALLY fitted. Get some purple wings, and voila.
For the rag doll look, you can replace the tights with purple and black striped ones (great ones at Wal-Mart on the costume aisle) and wear maybe some flats or Mary Janes. The skirt should be quite short, too. Maybe above the knees. It looks best if you make it raggedy with choppy scissor cuts.
For makeup, I would get some face paint, an eyeliner pencil, and a very skinny/medium brush. Paint your face white (or use baby powder, looks a bit more natural), let dry, then draw on the sort of runny makeup with the pencil. Fill in with the black paint.
Whew! (wipes brow) Hope this helps.
