I have some coins from 35 to 60 years ago?
Just wondering what are the best coin collectors sites to maybe value them. I have a 1953 coronation token from QE II and some silver dollars from the US and Canada from a bi centennial and others. All silver dollars. Thanks would appreciate advice.
A quick place to see values for both Canadian and American coins is http://www.mycoincollecting.com/coin-values.html. It’s a US site, so the Canadian coins are listed under “foreign”.
On the coronation token, is it a little bigger than the silver dollars? If so, it might be the commemorative crown issued by Britain in 1953. Take a look at http://www.ukcoinpics.co.uk/5s3.html (it’s arranged by ruler, so you’ll need to scroll down about 2/3 of the way to get to the Elizabeth II crowns) to see if that’s what you’ve got. If that’s what you’ve got, it’s about a $10 coin. If you wanted to sell it to a coin dealer, you’d probably get about half that.
