how can children not be corrupted?
How can we promote abstinenece and get kids to just be kids when all their life they are taught soemthing else. What with the barbie dolls, Princesses, TV shows and what not, girls are only being taught to dress up pretty, fall in love with handsome men, and raise families with them. Thats what we let them think in their childhood. They watch movies about beautiful princesses and hansome princes and play with baby dolls, and dress up games. Then when they are teenagers we try to stop them from dressing seductively and tell them not to get involved with boys and get pregnant! Doesn’t anyone think thats kind of strange??
well i think you’re stereotyping teenagers. The only reason we have berbies and movies about beautiful women falling in love with beautiful men is because that reflects what we have as an ideal in our society. even 200 years ago girl played with dolls and managed not to be corrupt. except that they started their families when they were only in their mid teens. it is only because women have rallied so hard and for so many rights that we suddenly assume that a woman should go and make a career out of her life instead of just staying home to raise kids. i don’t think you should be judging girls by how they behave as teenagers. it’s their choice. they wouldn’t be having sex if there was no natural sex drive…personally i think that women who have their children later in life after using artificial fertilisation are just tampering with nature and that isn’t right. we are capable of having children when we are in our teens because we are naturally able to handle being a mother at that age…it is only society that dictates us and says we can’t. and for the record, i do not support teen pregnanices and i’m pro choice but we have no right to judge.
