I need some help with an old Barbie doll.?
Okay, I am searching for something and I need to know if I’m crazy or not. Back in 1989 I had a Barbie and the Rockers doll. It was actually Barbie, but she had on a pink poodle skirt with music notes on the right side. She came with a cassette that was yellow.
Am I crazy or did this Barbie actually exist? After over a year of searching all I’ve found is the one with the silver tights and mini skirt. But Mattel themselves admit there were two versions of Barbie and the Rockers. Can anyone please tell me did this poodle skirted rocker exist and where could I find her? Thanks!
It was real, it was a spin-off line called Barbie and the Sensations.
In the Barbie and the Rockers cartoon, the whole group goes into space to do a concert. There’s a sequel episode where they go back in time to the 1950s while returning to earth.
