Who gives the good presents?

You or Santa?
If Santa what do you give (like accessories or other little things) and vice versa?
Not sure what we wanna do here, just wondering what other folks do.
We decided that Santa and his helpers make toys, so anything from them needs to be “made” or at least look like it. Last year Vada was only 7 months and Santa brought wood blocks and mini sports balls. This year we are asking for a rocking horse (already bought, it is a plush top with wood rockers) and a giant teddy bear. In the future we may give santa the doll house, but we would get the kitchen (Santa can bring felt and wooden food items).
I feel like Santa is a great tradition, but I do not want my child thinking he brings everything. Mommy and Daddy love her, too and we deserve some credit for gifts on christmas morning.
