I want to make an easy emo/goth doll, help?
I want to make a emo/goth doll but not sure where to start. I was thinking like a ragdoll type thing, but how would I go about doing that? Should I use a washcloth? Or little pieces of fabric I have? (I could sew them together and make a patchwork type doll). And how should I make a dress and hair on her? Do you have any suggestions or patterns?

Quick note: goth and emo are not the same thing.
Moving on from that, it would be easier to make a hard doll than a soft one, by taking a Barbie and using markers to modify the makeup. To make a rag doll…the best thing I can think of work be to take and cut two pieces of fabric into a doll-type shape, stuff them with some soft material (I used drier lint [not a good idea, it's very flammable] and added in a heart shaped stone I had, just for fun) and then sew the pieces together. You could embroider, draw, or paint on a face. If you wanted you could even sew yarn on for hair. As an alternative you could take a Barbie outfit, modify it to make it darker, sew up the pants legs and armholes, and attach the shirt and pant. You’d then stuff stuffing through the neck hole before sewing that up too. Uh…I guess you’d either have a footless, handless, headless doll or have to figure out a way to add those things.
