Anyone who goes to Oregon State Corvallis.?

I live in a very small town in California. I love Oregon and am hoping to get accepted to OSU. If I am accepted I will be moving up to Oregon to live on campus. I will know absolutely no one and will be about 14hrs from home. I am honestly a very shy person and the thought of moving to Oregon both excites me and scares me. I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the campus life at OSU and is there much diversity among students. I’m not looking to go to a college with a bunch of barbie and ken dolls. So can anyone give some sort of insight.
