should i study interior design or industrial (product) design?
hi everyone. im 18 years old and im about to go to university. all my life ive known that i want to be a designer and nothing else. when i was younger i wanted to be a fashion designesr but you know that was in my barbie doll days. anyway what i want to know from you guys is, what do you think i should do, interior or industrial design?
i have an uncle who is a very sucessful interior designer and i wanna do what he does. i was actually more focused on interior design but whenever i look at universities they have mainly industrial design. should i just do it? what kind of jobs can i get? aside from design im good at drawing/painting (fine art) and im really creative, so what do you think? interior or industrial?
You would have to try them. Though, it depends on just what part of industry you would be in, because there’s like the engineering side, the cgt side, etc. I don’t know which college your going to, but at mine they have an office that helps with things like that, helping you figure those things out. so many college students change their majors these days, you don’t have to make up your mind before you get there.
