Can someone estimate a toy appraisal?
I have a Molly McIntire American Girl doll from around 1998. I see them selling on e-bay for a good bit of money. I want to know if I should sell the doll and her accessories now or maybe wait several decades and sell as an antique?
I have:
The Molly doll in perfect condition (and box)
Her school desk (and box)
All her school accessories: binder, grammar books, mini pencils, backpack…
Two doll outfits and the glasses
Six books from her series and the cookbook
The doll perming kit complete with nine hair rollers and smock
So, should I sell now on ebay? Or wait until it is considered antique?
Could the prices be expected to rise a great deal more?
Yes, it is an antique depending on who you ask. If you are 100% sure everything is in mint condition, sell it together as “American Girl Molly Starter Kit”. Start it as $185. Make it a bid, and you’ll get loads of money.
