What should I get on my grocery list for healthier eating to lose weight?

Hi, my names Michaela, I’m 16… And I’m looking to lose a bit of weight. What should I get for a week’s supply of food? I don’t eat red meat. Could you give me a list… Snacks and everything. Price isn’t a big issue, just not caviar on… Crisp 100 dollar bills. (: Thank-you!

Fruits make great snacks. Kiwi is awesome tasting and it helps you lose weight. It literally burns the fat. Also, YUM canteloupe, so amazing, canteloupe is soooo low in calories and sooooooo good. If you eat 1/4 of a canteloupe that’s only 25 calories and that’s a lot of fruit. Just about most fruits are good for you so go nuts. Oh, and nuts are good for you too. Especially almonds. Get some vegetables for side dishes. Brocolli tastes really good when you steam it. Get some lettuce to make some sexy salads. Tip: Don’t buy the bagged lettuce it goes bad very quick and it’s not that good for you. You want the nice green lettuce. The greener the healthier. Put chicken in your salad. Maybe throw in some raisins or grapes. Delish. Make sure to put in all your fave fruits and veggies to make the salad non-boring. For meals you should try turkey burger. If you buy ground turkey, not only is it cheaper than ground beef, it’s way better for you. Um, lots and lots of fish. Well, actually, not too much fish. But maybe fish once or twice a week. You can get VanDeCamps Fish Fillets and put them on toast with lite mayonaise and some lettuce. I had that for dinner and Wowo! Yum! Eating healthy doesn’t have to be nasty. Salmon is the best fish for you though. If you love shrimp, go for it. Get some healthy turkey lunch meats. If you go to your local deli they have some very interesting and delish flavors. Eat your sandwiches on healthy whole grain breads. Get the kind with honey in it and you can’t go wrong. Just make sure that you can see the grains or it is just died white bread. You could buy lean chicken breast. Get some eggs. Eggs are good! Ummmm…. yeah. That’s all I got for now. Just no ice cream and chocolate. Also, no soda! Drink water. It’s the substance of life, it won’t kill ya. :P Instead of chips you could eat popcorn (not buttery) or pretzels. If you want a sweet drink buy Lipton Green Tea. You’ll find it in the juice section. Green tea is so great for you and man is it good tasting! Also, try some rice cakes. They come in some good flavors and the caramel ones are only 50 calories each. They also have ones that taste like chocolate and ones that taste like cheese. If you like celery, you burn more calories eating it than it has in it so that’s always good for you. I think that should be enough for a week haha. Maybe get some tuna if you like it. Ohhh and one more thing. Mustard has zero calories and it curbs your appetite so that you eat less.
