Is the rest of the Barbie playset ok if I take out the recalled parts that have lead paint?
My daughter has one of the recalled Barbie playsets. The toy company Mattel said to take out the cat in that playset because it contains lead paint and they are replacing it. Is the rest of that set ok? What about the cats and dogs that are in the other playsets? They have not said anything about them. How do they know those are the only parts of the sets that are affected?
Just a FYI they are ONLY being recalled in the US and Canada – so base your own judgement on if things will be okay on that.
The Dream Puppy and Dream Kitty and Bedroom sets are also affected.
