1. base your deck off of something, it can be an attribute of monsters or a monster type..possibly you could pick monsters with grouped names such as Crystal Beasts or Gladiator Beasts
2. do some research over what cards are massively played in most decks (such as Swords of Revealing Light or Lightning Vortex) as well as research on whatever deck you wish to build
