Do you know the name of this children’s book?
When I was in second grade (over 30 yrs ago) I checked out a book several times from the school library. I absolutely loved this book! It was about an old wooden doll in the attic and the birds and spiders and creatures around her. She always felt lonely and forgotten and one day fell out of the attic window. The animals and insects cleaned her up and dressed her with a dress made of spider silk and she was found by a little girl and loved from then on. I can’t remember the name of the book or author but it made a very big impression on me as a young girl. I was wondering if you might know of this book.
