Korean Won?

I have a note for 1,000 Korean Won. How much is that in American Dollars? I can’t find a converter that I can understand! (Math was NEVER my strong point!!)

Keep it. They have beautiful currency, don’t they? 1000 won is probably worth only a dollar or so but look at how pretty it is. When I was there in 1974 it was worth $2. It was printed in France and was a lovely example of fine Korean artwork. Today, it’s probably worth half that but so what? Go down to Office Depot, spend a dollar on a cheap frame and hang it on the wall. It’s a work of art.
