Question about my son’s security blanket?
Hi there,
My son traded in his pacifier for a keptin jr zmooz doll when he was 4months. Since then it’s a MUST HAVE when he’s going to sleep, he snuggles with it & just loves it. We had been keeping it as a sleepy time comforter only but lately he’s been teething & is just so fussy during the day & I brought his doll out & gave it to him & it’s really helped keep him happy during his awake times too! He carry’s it around with him EVERYWHERE. My husband’s concerned about this & wants to revert back to using it as a sleepy time comfort only. What are your thoughts?

If it comforts him, great. My son has two small blankets he sleeps with but when he’s sick or just feeling funky he carries them around the house with him. I don’t see the harm in it myself. Tons of kids have specific comfort items they cling to into the school years and are still healthy children all around.
