What was the name of the brunette barbie doll and the Mexican barbie doll?
These were my favorites when I was a little girl but I don’t remember the names that were on their boxes (I re-named them Jamie and Gabby).
BQ: Did anyone else who loved barbies hate Ken? I did – I only had one and he was always dead in every story line. I stole my brother’s GI Joes to be my barbies’ boyfriends.
Could have been Midge or Teresa, but alot of the time the brunette Barbies were just called Brunette Barbie. The hispanic dolls were definitely Teresa.
I actually liked Ken back then… but GI Joes made the ocassional appearance when Ken was away on business trips. I am a Barbie collector and I have 1 Ken doll, and I always look at it and think “why on earth did I buy that?”
