I am looking for the name of a doll from the early 90′s?

She was about the size of a barbie doll and wore a yellow dress with colorful graphics on it. She was supposed to be a singer and I believe she came with a cd, it was very pop-y and 80′s sounding. This is all I can remember, I’m pretty sure she is not Jem, does she sound familiar to anyone?
I’m sorry, it was a tape not a cd!
