How should I feel after my wife says this to me…?
I took my wife out for a meal today and afterwards we sat on the lakeside and fed the ducks, we had a really fantasitc chat and lots of things came out. Whilst this may sound a little silly, you guys know what you’re talking about and will be able to tell me exactly what she meant I hope. She was saying that when she’s with me she feels like a million dollars and that I’m the only person that really understands her and that she can tell me anything. She said also that though she loves me she also sometimes hates me too, but above all else I’m the man that makes her feel special and that she’ll always be by my side.
How can she love me and hate me at the same time!!??
Is what she saying a good thing or bad?

Congratulations to you Jason! Your wife is telling you that she loves you and feels taken care of, respected, treated right and secure.
That’s the good part.
Here’s the bad:
There is none.
Even though she loves you dearly, every once in a while you drive her up a tree. Either you have a certain habit of doing things (or not doing them) that annoys her. That is normal.
By telling you she hates you some of the time, she means that even though you have strange habits, or whatever, she loves you and takes you just the way you are.
Consider yourself lucky and loved. Hope it never changes for the two of you.
