Japanese doll for kids?
Hi, im currently in Tokyo, Japan and i want to take my niece a doll as a gift, but so far the only dolls i find when i ask for them are the wooden dolls (so kawaii but not what im looking for). Im looking for a doll a little girl would play with, almost something like this:

I would love for her to look japanese or possibly have a kimono. My question is, does anyone know where in tokyo (shinjuku to be exact) i could find something similar to a doll like this, where is there a major kid store or toy store? Thank you
If you’d like a teenage doll, there’s Licca-chan. She’s a bit like the Japanese Barbie. She sometimes comes with a kimono or yukata. I’ve sent my niece a few over the years.
I’m afraid I don’t know many of the other dolls…I think another famous doll is Popo-chan. You could try asking at a toy store for a Doll in Japanese clothing.
Sorry, I don’t live in Tokyo, but many department stores will have a toy department.
