Exchange Rate in Jamaica?
I am going to Jamaica and wanted to know some information. So I know that the exchange rate in Jamaica right now is 1 US Dollar = 89 Jamaican Dollars, but can someone give me a comparison with everyday products. Such as how much Jamaican Dollars would a bottle of soda cost me or a bottle of sun tan lotion compared to the US Dollar?
a 1 litre bottle of soda is about $150 or US$1.80 or something like that.
A Wendy’s meal burger, fries and drinks in Jamaica average $500
Put it this way, its more or less the same cost in Jamaica as the USA. It you stay in a tourist area it will be much more.
