PS3 shut off by itself yesterday but is still working?
so I was playing FAR-CRY 2 yesterday and pressed the PS button to check on my inbox, the system froze and in 3 seconds just shut off by itself started beeping and flashing a red light and then it stopped. As my PlayStation has already been to repair with Sony after it crashed for good in January I was worried that after 6 months it would be happening again. But I waited like 30 minutes and turned it on again working perfectly so the first thing I thought of doing was to save all my game saves.. a back up disc. Should I be worried that my HDD could give up on me again? my repair warranty already expired and I don’t want to pay 170 dollars again, if I do, XBOX360 slim here I come
Most likely it overheated bc of either bad ventilation or too much dust, so get your vacuum cleaner and start sucking.
