is my Coin Worth Money ?
I bought the Obama Presidential Coin Collection off of www.uscoinnetwork.com . I was appose to receive a Dollar coin, a half dollar coin, a Hawaii State quarter and a Illinois state quarter that all have different prints of obama on them and Certificates of Authenticity for them. After looking at them i noticed i had two Hawaii state quarters but one has the Obama Illinois stamp on them. Could this make that certain quarter be worth any thing?
All valuable error coins are mint errors. The coin you describe was a common minted coin, but the “error” happened after it left the mint. I would say it would not be worth much over face value. You may find someone who wants it, but it would likely not be a coin collector as many collectors consider stamped, colorized, or printed coins defaced and worthless.
