What’s the next Netflix rent for you?
Mine is Windy City Heat. It’s supposed to be excellent. It’s like they fooled regular one guy into thinking thinking that he’s gonna star in some big movie and he totally buys into it. Famous people show up and stuff to make it even more real for the dude but it’s all a goof.
synopsis:
Director Bobcat Goldthwait also stars in this practical joke stretched to the limit, which follows an unsuspecting Perry Caravello on his journey to become a bona fide movie star. Set up by his friends Don Barris and Tony Barbieri, Perry is cast to play a hard-boiled “sports private eye” named Stone Fury in an upcoming film called Windy City Heat. But even as the cameras roll, gullible Perry has no idea that the production is a sham.
