Are these “Liv dolls” the thing for Christmas ’09?

Did they come out recently or something because I’m having a hard time finding these dolls and accessories. I’ve seen the commercials, and I totally want them, ya know? Ok, just kidding, they were placed on a Birthday/Christmas wish list and I’ve only found 2 of the 4 dolls, no clothes and the only play set I’ve found is a hair dresser type playset. Also, thru the packaging, they look like they have really wide hips/waist. Will Barbie/Bratz clothes not fit them, I’m guessing, so did they even make other fashions for these dolls yet? What’s the low down on these dolls?
