We forgot to ask our friend to the movies, now what?
My best friend and I had been looking forward to seeing GI Joe, mainly because of Joseph Gordon Levitt. Last night I was at another friend’s house, and they told me that we were going to see the midnight showing. By the time they told me it was close to eleven, so I agreed, and we went. I didn’t even think to invite my BF, and neither did the others. We all assumed shed be busy with her boyfriend or sleeping(she works a lot), and now she’s upset that we didn’t think of her and went without her, and I feel dreadful. I really just don’t know what to do, or how to make it up to her–this has never happened before. Any suggestions?
I agree with the other suggestions. Offer to go with her again- just you and her. Make a day of it. Go shopping, maybe see another movie, that sort of thing.
As long as she knows you’re sorry, I think you’re okay. It’s awful to be left out, and until I know my friends didn’t mean for it to happen, I’m upset. When I know they’re sorry, it makes me feel better.
