Is selling Bootleg NBA T shirts illegal?

I have this idea to sell t shirts outside my local nba arena. it would just say “I Heart then the players name” on it thats all. Im planning on going to a local print shop to get quotes but if i buy bulk i could get them cheap. The problem is i think GI Joes already has shirts that are sorta similar to this. Will it be a problem if I get the shirts made and sell them outside the arena before games?
well is it considerd a boot leg if i have the shirts made myself and i pay for it? All it would say is “I Heart Players first name” and would not include any nba or team logo

I think as long as it doesn’t have any copyrighted or trademarked logos on them. A name should be fine.
