Am I in for a good read with these? Please read on!?
After a trip to town I came home with the following books:
A Room of One’s Own by Virginia Woolf The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie by Muriel Spark The Thirty Nine Steps by John Buchan Girl With a Pen The Story of Charlotte Bronte by Elizabeth Kyle The Girl Who Married a Lion by Alexander McCall Smith Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen Flying Under Bridges by Sandi Toksvig An Offer You Can’t Refuse by Jill Mansell Wish You Were Here by Mike Gayle The Sleeping Doll by Jeffery Deaver No Time to Say Goodbye by Linwood Barclay Old Boyfiends by Debbie Maccomber
Opinions please and a suggestion on what to take on night shift tonight would be useful too!
Thanks!
Wow, you ended up with quite a few books. I have read The Sleeping Doll which i thought was good and well written but i also think it was a bit slow in parts. I also read Old Boyfriends and i thought it was great, i would recommend it as well. I have heard Lock and Key is good although i haven’t read it personally. I don’t know much about the others sorry.
