Exchange Rate Dollar Indian Rupee

exchange rate dollar indian rupee
Why are prices and incomes deflated in India?

My dad says it costs about $4000-5000 dollars for a family of four to fly from Birmingham, Alabama, to Bangalore, Karnataka, India, in economy class.(Via Chicago and Frankfurt). He works for Regions Bank as a software engineer, so it takes him 5-6 months to save up that money. When I asked him why my uncle, who happens to work for Puma in Bangalore in the same job, couldn’t come to Birmingham, my dad said it would take my uncle 4-5 years to save 4000-5000 dollars worth of money. Why is this?(4000 to 5000 dollars is192224.5 to 240280.6 Indian Rupees at current exchange rates)

Poor exchange rate and depressed economy. another part is what is the owner of a business willing to pay for those services
