How do you remove dollar sign from Excel?
I accidentally copied a price into a cell that was supposed to contain a model number, and now whenever I add a number, it automatically assigns it a dollar sign. How can I turn this off? I have 2004 for Mac, which in most cases is the same as 2003 for Windows.
Ok should be similar:) Select the cells which contains dollar sign and right click and “format cells” and at left side you will see categories. Select “number” then OK.
