am i wrong in doing so? (headscarf question)?
okay im 16 and so i wear my head scarf whenever i go out, for instance to school or to the shops etc, however i do not wear my head scarf at home. and when im at home people come round e.g. my brothers friends, family, gas man (lol) practically any one.
i dont have my headscarf on, but should i wear it? even in my own home?
also i dont wear my headscarf when im at a celebration, like a party, or wedding or eid. do i need to wear it on these instances too? for example on eid, we all get dolled up (woop!) and i dont wear my headscarf, but my first cousins are tehre who are like 17,18 years old… but i never really cover up in front of tehm.. do i need to? theyre still family.

You should wear hijab around any man who is a non-mahram (who is not your brother, husband, son or father.) So, to answer your question, if you are just home alone and not around those men, then you do not need to wear your headscarf.
If you are around your brothers friends, the gas man, and when you go to mixed gatherings, then yes, you should wear it.
Your cousins are your non-mehrams, so yes, you should cover in front of them too.
