Can someone help me with Dora Knows Your Name doll setup?

I’m trying to set it up for my niece, but the program isnt recognizing the doll as being plugged into the USB. Its not the computer, because my computer pops up with the Instilation Wizard and the noise when i plug it in. Fisher-Price.com had no help. I’m trying to set this up for my 4 year old niece, help me be a hero!!
