What should I dress up as?? Guaranteed 10 points for best answer.?
OK I’m entering the All-Ireland Line Dancing Final in May next year but the heats are coming up soon. And for one of my dances you get extra points for your entertainment value, and I’m at a lose as to what to dress up as.
Last year I dressed up as Oliver Hardy, and it seemed to go down well as I got through first time and came eighth in the final.
Some of the other winners from last year was a man dressed as Dolly Parton, a grown up baby, a cow, Zorro, Elvis, Whoppi Goldberg (in sister act), a chinese farmer, a pirate, and that’s all I can remember.
So I looking for something entertaining, suitable for all age, young and old, nothing slutty, easy to make/substitute as I have no costume shops near hand and could suit a plus size woman.
So all answers weird and wonderful are welcome.

a 1920′s “flapper”. doing a routine of charleston/jazz-bob fosse style from the broadway play “chicago”. simple costume- long sleeve blouse and slacks, loose and flowing, with rows of string fringe for added effect, or a mid calf length dress in sequins with a matching sequened bowler hat, finally a matchong pair of shoes with a 1″”-1/1/4″ heels.. take a look on youtube for liza minelli singing “all that jazz”, chita rivera and gwen verdon video, and clips from the musical”chicago” it’s great music and dance styling, that’s been a real crowd pleaser. you might even use black flowing slacks with a sleeveless top, attach suitable lapels and collar, a bow tie, and bowler. a red sequined belt, red sequined hatband, and red sequines on the bow tie, for flash and sparkle. good luck !
