has anyone been ripped off by ebay?

i am going to start getting bits and bobs in for christmas and i have just spent 28.99 on a dolls pram set for my daughter, i sent the payment off and marked it as paid but when i went back on to have a look at the item it is relisted as buy now for £30??? im confused because i only just started using ebay.i have paid with a postal order

Yeah they are probly selling more than one of the same thing. Best way to tell if a seller is legit is check their feedback rating. unscrupulous sellers don’t last long and will usually have several neutrals and negatives to go with a low % rating.
also bear in mind that if someone has a high feedback score in the 1,000′s or 10′s of thousands then negatives/neutrals can be down to postal mishaps etc.
