Looking for good cat breeder in UT?
I am looking for a good/reputable cat breeder in UT.
I want a Doll Faced Persian.
Could anyone point me in the right direction?
Thank you very much! I live next to someone who owns a “doll faced” persian that she got from a breeder and I just thought it looked a little diffrent from the normal persians.
I know a lot about persians, but apparently not enough!

I am just frustrated with people in the dog sections thinking that “t-cup yorkies, chihuahuas, pomeranians, etc…” are not runts, and whatever.

“Reputable breeders” don’t breed doll faced Persians because having a “doll face” is not the standard for the breed. If you don’t need a cat that meets the breed standard then go find one at your local shelter. There’s lots of longhaired cats (Persian mixes and otherwise) that don’t have the characteristic flat face of a Persian. You can also find purebred Persians at shelters as well – I have one of them.
Please don’t support a backyard breeder selling “doll faced Persians” – this isn’t someone trying to better the breed – it’s something just trying to make money with no regard to the health of the animals in their care. With so many cats and kittens in shelters hopefully you’ll make the right decision and go find a cat there.
