Did the Pussycat Dolls have anything to do with Spice Girls reunion/farewell?
I just find it interesting that after the success of PCD the Spice Girls “happen” to get back together.PCD could easily have been a Spice Girls CD. I find it interesting they start touring in LA, where Beckham is trying to get soccer noticed.
I feel like they are the reason we wound up with as many cookie cutter pop groups as we did.
Hopefully we’ll see a challenge on stage.
PCD have nothing to do with Spice Girls reuniting. There have been constant rumors of Spice Girls reuniting for YEARS. Spice Girls came out nearly TWELVE years before the PCD pop group. And another thing, at least with the Spice Girls, everyone knew who was who, and everyone knew they’re names and/or nicknames, and they ALL sang, unlike Pussycat Dolls who have ONE singer, and only fan-FANS of PCD know the other girls’ names even though they’re just back up dancers. But yes, I do agree that the Spice Girls started the whole late 90′s pop music explosion (Britney, Christina, Backstreet Boys, Nsync, etc.), and many other failed groups/acts that tried to copy the Spice Girls.
