What should i start the bidding at? (Ebay)?
Im selling an American Girl Doll Kit Kittredge on Ebay, and I’ve never sold anything on Ebay before so i want to make sure I start the bidding at an acceptable price? Most of these dolls on ebay right now, are going for like 90-130. Mine includes
Kit Kittredge the Doll
Patterned Skirt
Pink Sweater
Pink Short Sleeve Cardigan
White Blouse
Blue Dress
Brown Shoes
White Hat with Green Bow
so wht should i say to start the bidding at?
This is a decision that you should make for yourself. If you start the bidding at $0.99, you will create a frenzy of bidding. You must be prepared to let the item go for a lower amount if others don’t bid high enough. If you are not comfortable with that, set a reserve price. This will be the least amount you will let your doll sell for. If the bidding doesn’t meet or exceed this amount, the doll is still yours.
If you have an idea in mind about what you want to sell the doll, you can sell it as a “Fixed Price.” You will only get what you are asking. The risk here is, you could low ball the amount people are willing to pay and miss out on an opportunity to get more money.
My suggestion is to list it as a fixed item with a set price. You can mark it up higher than you would expect to sell it, and accept a “Best Offer.” Be sure to search for completed listings of similar items so you have an idea what price is reasonable.
