18′ Doll Backpack pattern/directions?? 10 points!?

My bird loves to look in backpacks, so I want to sew him a doll-sized backpack. Anyone got any easy patterns or directions?

If you scroll down several entries the person who made this back pack posts a tutorial. you can leave off the face if you want, but it is pretty small (fits a small child). and once you read through it, you could easily reduce the proportions to your needs.
