Sometime between 1969 and 1972 or so I had a toy astronaut with a flying saucer attached to it. It was probably about four or five inches high. I am thinking the head of the astronaut, as best I can recall, resembled a modern day bobble head doll and may have had some sort of helmet. The helmet may or may not have been removable. The body was made of a dark grey fabric that was similar to a stocking.
You put your fingers through an opening in the back into the
“legs.” For some reason I think you could also put your fingers in the back for the arms, but I’m not sure about that. Lastly, the midriff of the astronaut’s stocking body had a light grey, hard plastic, flying saucer attached to it. The saucer may have been about four inches in diameter
